Meet the Artist: Fran Cummings

                                                                                                    Fran Cummings

This is the second in a series of profiles of the artists
who are living The Tallulah Life

My name is Fran Cummings. I have always enjoyed the creative arts in its various forms, but became seriously involved in oil portraiture in the '90's. Additionally, I wrote weekly articles for a national news service for 15 years, as well as doing some of the old "cut and paste" graphic arts before computers did it. Piano and organ have been endeavors of mine, beginning with my church choir as a teenager.

After retiring and moving to Richmond from Lynchburg, Virginia in 2004, I became interested in creating jewelry in various forms. I remain fascinated by how much I am able learn. There is just no end. It is my passion now, as I wake each day to the wonders of "bling".
